Luke 24:13-32

The page had turned

He was no longer physically with them

Speaking into their lives – Face to face,

Eating meals with them, praying for them and with them,

Teaching them and touching others’ lives with them

The page was turned, He was gone,

The way they thought it would be was now forever changed

He was going to write afresh on their hearts and lives

He was going to communicate with them in fresh new ways

And they had to let go of the previous season

And step into this now season

Or they would hold up His kingdom plans

For their lives and those around them

They could not sit and cry and say,

“Why did this have to happen this way?

Could You not have just remained a little longer? We were not ready”

They would never have been ready

Heaven’s plans were released on earth

And they needed to align their lives with them

And so it is with us,

It is holy alignment time

Aligning our lives with the Father’s plans for our lives

To feel our hearts burn within us!
