What Is It To Know You?

WHAT IS IT TO KNOW YOU?

Donna Milham

John 1:1
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God”.

To experientially know Him as the Living Word – alive and beating within our spirits.
To hide the Word in our hearts, to seek its depths with Holy Spirit, so that it brings forth transformation into and through every part of our being – radiating the One Who is Truth!

This Glorious Light of His Revelatory Truth reveals any place within that is dark or shadowy as
He invites us into the brightness of His Beautiful Manifested Glory.
He desires that we would be changed within, from beholding Him and His Glory –

“And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.“ 2 Cor. 3:18

With each gaze, with each pondering, with each moment of awe, we quietly breathe Him in.
We partake of Him, we eat of His likeness and His nature and places within our souls we have cried out for healing, deliverance, change………are transformed.  Some in a moment, some in process of coming again and again into the secret place of Divine exchange.

Lord, what is it to truly know You?It is to know My thoughts and My ways
To see as I see
To hear Me and respond, agree and obey
To be given understanding, revelations of hidden things
To grasp My order of the universe and creation
Of how it all interconnects
To walk in peace and assurance
Of My Personhood
Of My Kingdom’s reign
Of My Victory
Of My Kingship
Of My Promises
Of My Covenant

As you walk in this – you mature
For you are not flailing in your emotions, or erratic in your thoughts
You become more and more settled, confident, patient, secure
You are experiencing the fruits of Holy Spirit pouring into and through your soul and spirit
Learning to live, walk and lead as a follower of the Lamb of God
From intimately knowing the Good Shepherd Who laid down His life

1 John 2:13
“I am writing to you who are mature because you know Christ, the One who is from the beginning”.Maturity means knowing Christ, knowing the One Who is Eternal, Endless and is in us.
It is more than knowledge, the knowing of Him, it is truly walking in close intimacy with the One Who is Love and Who is Glory!

Rev. 1:8
“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”
